TUSSLE SUPER LEAGUE LEADERBOARD
Different components of Scoreboard:

* Attendance: Each player will gain some points for playing a tournament. For each tournament played, the player will get +1 in this column, irrespective of the fact if he finished it or not. Once he successfully registered for the tournament, by entering his team and the check-in code, he will get +1 here.
* Match Delay Penalty: All the players will get a certain amount of time to finish their
match-ups. Failing to comply with the round limit will impose a strict penalty on the
player/s involved. For each penalty, 1 point will be added to this column, which will later reduce your discipline bonus. Please read Super League Penalties for more information.
* Left a Tourny in midst: If a player quits the tournament, the player will be imposed a penalty. It would be higher if the player leaves un-announced and without any proper reason. However, this penalty would be halved if the player has a genuine reason and informed the admins and staff about this. Depending on the situation, points will be added to this column, which will later reduce your discipline bonus. Please read Super League Penalties for more information.
* Wins: Players will gain points only for wins in respective rounds, and not for individual battles. For each win, +1 will be added to this column.
* BCH: In order to make a more fair and competitive system, we are also accounting for the Buccholz Points and Battles won. This column will get the sum of Buccholz Points and Battles Won for each tournament.
* Position PT: Additional points for gaining a medal in the tournament. All players with gold badge will get 10 points, players with silver badge will get 5 and players with bronze badge will get 2 points. Points will be distributed to all the players who gained the badge, irrespective of tie.
Points Calculation:

Total points are calculated as a sum of 2 factors: Win PTS (A) and Bonus Points (B)
A. Win PTS (A): Each win will gain 10 points. At this column, the total win points are
calculated.
B. Bonus PTS (B): Bonus points are a complex collection of various factors. It counts
Discipline, Buchholz, and Position points. Each of these three components have
different weightage and are explained below:
-
Discipline= Attendance – Match Delay Penalty – 2* Left Tourny in Midst
-
BCH= Sum of all the BCH points
-
Position Pts= Sum of all the Position Points
-
Bonus Points = 10*Discipline + BCH + Position Pts

Total Points = Win PTS + Bonus PTS
What is Match Delay Penalty?
In order to bring a smooth and quick tournament experience for all the participants, we are introducing a penalty system, where the player/s shall receive a point penalty for slow game play.
How does it work?
It is a very complex system, but we have tried to sum up some key considerations for the admins, while enforcing a penalty. Please keep in mind that this penalty can be enforced to either one or both the players.

1. Attempts to establish the first contact: This is the very first thing which the admins will seek for. Who made the first contact and when. Please consider the following table:

2. If players decided a time to play, but one or both players are absent:
At this situation a penalty could be enforced on both the players. Hence it is obligatory for the player to show that he was active at the decided time and sent the Direct Message to him for the match.
3. If match could not finish in 24hrs time period: After considering the above-mentioned conditions, the admins will impose a penalty on the player/s. And hence, would decide if there should be an extension for gameplay or not. The duration of extension will be decided by admins on their discretion. If no extension is awarded, the player/s shall be removed from the tournament. Please refer to ‘Tournament Quit Penalty’ to know more about this situation.
A Match Delay Penalty is forced only when there is a possibility of a match.

In order to avoid Match Delay Penalty, here are some guidelines which we recommend you to follow:
1. Tag your opponent in the appropriate channel AND immediately send a Direct Message to them as soon as possible.
2. Immediately discuss and finalize a play time.
3. Keep in mind that there can be a possible 30 minutes delay by your opponent, so we suggest to inform them in advance if you have a busy schedule before or after the speculated match time.
4. If your opponent is offline and unavailable at the pre-decided time, share the screenshots at troubleshooting channel, and tag the admins. Please keep in mind that your opponent might have stuck in some last-minute work, so be patient, and wait for 30 minutes at max, before contacting the admins.
What is Tournament Quit Penalty?
Oftentimes, players join the tournament, but then quit because of their poor performance, or are inactive or for other reasons. Hence, we introduced a penalty, which will be counted in discipline, to control such acts. However, the admins understand that there are situations when a player has to quit due to other genuine commitments, hence a smaller (halved) penalty is imposed at such situations, guidelines for which will be explained below.
How does it work?
There are following situations, which the admins analyze:

1. Inactive status: If the player is inactive and cannot be reached out, then he shall be removed from the tournament. At this situation, he will receive a tournament quit penalty.
2. Indisciplinary acts: If the player shows indiscipline and mis-conduct, then the admins can remove him from the tournament as per silph arena guidelines. A tournament quit penalty shall be enforced as well.
3. Unable to finish the match: If the player is unable to finish the match in due period, and is deemed ineligible for an extension, then he shall be removed from the tournament with this penalty.
4. Unable to continue further in the tournament: If a player is occupied with other priorities, and cannot continue further, then he should immediately inform the admins and his opponent, and request to be removed from the tournament. At this situation, only ½ of the tournament quit penalty shall be imposed. (Reason: Since he did not finish the tournament, but is still getting an attendance point, this half penalty is imposed)
